Lots of potential but some major flaws
I’m enjoying this game a lot. It’s a cool idea and the unique setup makes you think outside the box while still being good practice for tactics and strategy. But it has some major flaws. First of all, you’re not actually playing against real people, right? Which would be fine, except you seem to be trying to make it look like you are, which is really dishonest tbh. You should either develop a true online mode or you should stop pretending like you already do. My second, less important gripe is that the hint arrows often recommend moves that are absolutely schizophrenic. Why am I given a hint recommending that I blunder my queen with no tactical compensation? Thankfully you stop seeing hints after you win a certain number of games. And finally, while I do like the Fischer960-style setup, if every game has two bishops then I think they should always be opposite colors. It’s strange that I so frequently get 2 dark squared bishops. Having said all that, I really like the concept. I’m a relative beginner at chess and this is a fun way for me to practice tactics and outside-the-box strategy. If you make a few tweaks I think this could be a great app, I’m already addicted tbh
