Still the Worst Banking App – Now Even Worse
This app was already the worst banking experience I’ve ever had — and somehow, it just got worse. After the recent update and rebranding from AUB to KFH Bahrain, I’m now greeted with this message: “SECURITY ALERT – This device does not meet the minimum security requirements for this application. Hence the application has been closed. Please contact the app publisher for more details.” Seriously? I use dozens of banking and finance apps daily on the same iPhone, and not a single one gives me this kind of error. This is basic functionality — and somehow, one of the biggest banks in the region can’t figure it out. If your app can’t work on a standard iPhone setup, then your security approach is flawed. I’d rather have an app that works reliably than one that locks me out in the name of security that’s clearly not user-aware. Disappointed is an understatement.
