The new "Genre Select" feature allows you to select your favorite genre and sound, and then start songwriting by freely combining patterns. 5 x 5 pads are all assigned with phrases created by gadgets, so you can start songwriting by freely combining your favorite patterns. You can start creating a song from a project in which each track's gadgets and scenes have been developed. Choose from the standard genre packs and enjoy a different approach to music production.
• Tons of sounds readily available with the New Browser
To make it easier than ever to find the desired gadget instrument, we have revised the Gadget Browser and added various functions. New features include displaying gadgets by instrument category, a Favourites function that allows you to group your favorite gadgets, and a search function that allows you to freely search for sounds in each gadget. Using the program search function, it is now possible to quickly and easily preview and search for the sound you wanted from a vast array of sounds.

Let’s Get Emotional!
Quantizing upgrade would be a huge plus. We all know that real music basically almost never hits the exact beat when playing, but the present quantizing in this app does exactly that. It needs to allow for a percentage quantize to be set to what the programmer wants so when you’re playing, it doesn’t just bring all the notes towards being exactly on the beat, but alloys them to be brought closer only. A percentage Q implementation would be a very big welcoming addition. Don’t get me wrong, I still love using this app but the feel of it would greatly benefit from the upgrade when it comes to a humanized feel. UPDATE: I get the sneaky feeling that Korg has fixed the timing issue with this app. For some reason, the sequencer now feels right. My older songs now feel like they’re on time like they should. I know that something has changed.

Excellent music app!
I really love working in this app. The gadgets sound awesome, and it’s worth noting that graphically it’s also the best looking DAW on iOS. - Hoping that a gadget gets added that lets you load and play external AUv3 synths! - Also hoping AUv3 support gets added for Pompei, my favorite Gadget based on the polysix synth! - Please add pitch bend range control to all the gadgets- I really like to be able to set the pitch bend wheel to a full octave, but it’s only on some. Thank you! Thanks KORG. The search function and other features in Gadget 3 are game changers. Looking forward to more updates to this great app!

Best DAW for iOS
Always on point and never a problem. Inspiring creativity on the daily. Best DAW and virtual instrumentation with full force MIDI collaboration. Worth every penny if they still made pennies.

Needs Updated
I’ll change my star to 5 stars once there’s a sync for ableton link because there’s some funky issue while trying to record it into Cubasis. Doesn’t work with AUM nor Audiobus for me. I have to go into gadget and press play then hit record in Cubasis to get it to work

Only purchased this for the Santa Ana Guitar and then had to pay more for it. Disappointing.
