Access your collection from every device, search for an album, sort the list by band, year, style, or purchase date, and filter the copies by format, condition, or style.

Create a list of the albums you need to replace, those you want to listen to next, and also the ones that you are eager to add to your collection.

Promising, but rough

Promising concept — I’ve been looking for a simple but powerful music database for years. Biggest dealbreaker now is the apparent need to import albums one at a time. Apologies if I missed it, but if it’s possible it’s not obvious (i.e., File>Import). I have a modest digital collection of a couple thousand albums. There is no way I’m entering each one by hand — especially when the basic metadata is sitting right there in iTunes. Need batch import before this is viable. Second big need is some attention to output. If this app could batch-import from iTunes and play FLAC files, I’d dump the so-called Music.app for this in a heartbeat. If those are added, I’ll edit this review.

Would be a good app....

If it had barcode scanning capability. Having to manually add everything when you have so much is too time consuming.
