Would have been nice if they had put more money into developing a better mobile banking platform rather than a new main branch.
Unhappy ex-account holder
Bad Banking
I am 70 years old and never experienced banking this bad. Opened my account less than a year ago and have had one problem after another. The latest problem was in trying to transfer money from Champions First to another bank. When through the process and successfully linked the accounts. Went to the app and requested the transfer. Got an error message “this transaction cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later”. Tried the transaction two more times. Got the same message. Called the bank and they could not explain the problem. I was told to try again tomorrow. Tried the next day and got the same result. Made the request through the other bank and after five days, the money was credited to my account. However, the money was pulled back by Champions First. Called the other bank and inquired as to why and they informed me it was pulled back for insufficient funds. I went on line to check my balance. The money was in my checking account, but they tried to take it out of the savings account. So, I tried again and after six attempts, finally got the money transferred. Today I opened my account and discovered I was charged a $35 transaction fee. I would NOT recommend this institution to anyone.
