Barely works
I am 12 years old and my mom use a Kidslox on my phone. And I’ll admit it. I’m a little bit addicted. And I kind of needed it, but I hated it. Any other Screen Time app would do, but it’s so frustrating and annoying. Problem 1) When I run out of Screen Time, it says “ Screen Time will be limited until 7 AM tomorrow” so I think “ OK I’ll go to sleep and then when I wake up, I can go on my phone again. NOPE! My apps are still not working and I can’t use my phone so I have to beg my mom to unlock my phone in the morning. Problem 2) Is there a Screen Time on apps that makes no sense at all. There’s a screen time on WhatsApp and me and my mom can’t change it and sometimes I go these days without knowing what my family is talking about on WhatsApp because our family chat is on WhatsApp. there’s also a Screen Time on Spotify to study and play some relaxing music, but I can’t. I have a Voice Record app that I need to study my parasha (yes I’m Jewish) there’s a screen time on that. Me and my mom and my tech nerd of a friend have tried and tried, but we can’t figure out how to change it. It’s very hard to customize. Customize so I have to beg my mom. It’s bad for both of us. Problem 3) I wanted to get Clash Royale on my phone. but whenever I try to install it, it says you need permission from your parents and he gave me the option to ask. I asked it didn’t go through. I had to get it on the home iPad and my brother keeps losing my progress and it’s very that I have to share with the iPad my younger brother because he takes it and watches YouTube shorts on it and I can’t get it from him to play. Me and my mom have tried, but I can’t get any apps. I want to get Minecraft which I’ve been asking for forever and I have to get on the iPad again. So instead of having an account all to myself now I have to share one with my brother.
