About ShowSky
The 180 deg map shows you the whole sky in front of you with a flat horizon just as you see it. The 360 deg map shows you the whole visible sky at this moment and the "track" view allows you to point your device towards the sky and see in details what is there. Just turn around to see all currently visible constellation and objects.
ShowSky's maps shows you not one or a small number of constellations, but the whole sky allowing you to understand their relative positions in the sky. Planet are also included.

Excellent sky map
This is a simple and clear sky map. The way it shows deep sky objects took me a little while to understand but now that I see how it’s tracking and labeling them it’s very effective. Reminds me of the old DOS app SkyGlobe, which was a gem.

Great Little App!
I am an astro app addict and this simple app kicks butt! There are times when you want to take a quick look at what's up in the sky tonight and this app does the trick. I like the 180 deg. option of seeing and tracking the sky in the direction you are facing. Also, there is just the the right number of stars presented so your view is not cluttered. Check it out and see if you agree. You also can't beat the price! (Free).
