These constantly go off for no reason.
These were installed in our house by our contractor. They are supposed to last for 10 years. After 2 years, 2 of them started sounding the alarm for no reason. We had a friend install 2 new ones by Kidde because I didn’t want to have to figure out installing a different brand that may not connect in the same way. 8 months after installing the new ones, the alarm goes off again indicating there is smoke outside the font door. We are having historic rains due to an atmospheric river, so there is no smoke anywhere near us. These are terrible! Do not buy!
