This app shows the signs of a stroke in simple easy graphics. If you or someone else is having a stroke this app will call 911 directly and instantly send text messages to as many as 3 emergency contacts notifying them that you are having a medical emergency and calling 911.
If you are looking for the closest certified stroke center (not all hospitals have stroke treatment capabilities) this app will find the closest certified stroke center for you.
Device and stroke center location is approximate, and may not always be accurate.

Way too heavy for an ER app
I saw this app advertised in the NYTimes. I was looking for a stroke app that would quickly show me the symptoms and maybe help me call 911. This app requires u to go thru many screens just to get to the symptoms page, and it wants your name and tries to harvest your ER contacts too. The configuration screen says that when u dial 911, it will send a message to your family ER contacts telling them to call 911 and tell responders where u are. This makes no sense. Removed the app from my iPhone. Yikes.
