About Corde Magno

The Eudists is a society of international apostolic life that brings together priests, deacons and lay people, incorporated or associated, who share their lives of prayer, their experiences and their apostolic commitments.

John Eudes, seized by the love of Jesus, brought to his heart the distresses and needs of the men and women of his time: following their founder, the Eudists seek to open, with audacity, and establish the Kingdom of Jesus.

Thus, the Eudists seek to make Jesus live and reign more and more, and give themselves to the service of Christ and his Church, 'corde magno et animo volenti' with a great heart and a great love.

The Eudist archives "Fonds des Pères Eudistes" comprise almost 150,000 documents. To date, we have digitized over 45,000 and produced several catalogs structured around the institutions we founded. Digitization and the data collection provide the critical material required for wider dissemination of our heritage.

The metadata we collected, such as authors, titles, years of publication, etc., facilitates research and access to documents, and preserves their integrity.

Corde Magno automatically indexes not only the initial metadata, but also the content of the documents. We have implemented a full-text search that identifies words and phrases throughout the entirety of electronic documents without being restricted to specific metadata or fields.

We have also processed photos using an artificial intelligence application. All photos can be downloaded, including the original versions. We would appreciate if "Fonds Les Pères Eudistes" could be credited when you publish on other platforms.
