Nerfed everything
These yeelight smart bulbs worked great when I got them. The app controlled them very well. Now they’ve changed everything. I open the app and the lights don’t respond. I have to seriously wait 3-4 minutes before they finally respond and are usable. The api to control them with is a good indicator of what’s wrong. Something in the new firmware has made them unreliable. I’ll send a command via a script or even the app and there’s only a 10% chance they respond. I bet if I bought the latest versions they’d work way better. I’m going to throw these lights away.
