What happened to the android app "?, no longer on the play store. Works fine on iPad. please advise.

This app need a lot of work done it’s always freezing up to then start over

HORRIBLE!!

I just had Uniview cameras installed at my house. The company that installed them ensured me that I would be able to receive push notifications about motion to my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.7.1. NOPE! I can’t get push notifications on this app or through the UNV link user app either. Nothing works! Such a joke! Avoid Uniview!

Works well

I’ve been using this app for a year to remotely connect to a UNV NVR that’s hard wired to a gigabit router and has 8 4k cameras. I use it to view the cameras live streaming and remote video playback. It works well. The phone signal strength and the resolution of the cameras or video will determine if the video is good quality or slow to connect. Overall, the app works well and does what it’s supposed to do.

Issue with latest update

The recent update introduced a bug where the password under “my devices” gets changed by itself and cameras go offline. And even when I input the correct password and save it, the cameras will be on temporarily but then the password will get changed again. And another issue is when I log out and log back in, it doesn’t save my camera placement configuration in Live View.
