I’d pay a $40 one-time fee for this app
I’ve only just downloaded the app, so these are first impressions. As a fledgling weather nerd, Rod’s YouTube forecasts have become part of dinner prep each night, which I compare to the observed weather data on my recently installed PWS. Rod is a legend, his website is awesome, and this app is basically a shortcut icon to browse his mobile site. Is it mobile friendly? Friendly enough. Pinch to zoom for near-live cameras around the state. Around the state? Yes! Rod has detailed forecasts for popular areas in NW Oregon, which is awesome for adventure planning. Get the app and subscribe to his YouTube if you live around Portland, his forecasts are reliable because of how much local data he looks at - and it’s all visible to you through this app! Rod rules. Geek out. Is there a place to donate to a mobile app development fund?
Goggie!!
Thumbs Up
Have been with this weather app from the very beginning. I have watched it grow from a small weather screen to the big screen it is now. I think what I love most about this app is that not only does he do his on videos, he adds his beautiful dog, even gets down to his level so we not only see Rod, but we also get see Max. Keep up the GREAT WORK.
