The Grand Lodge of Pernambuco was founded on October 6, 1932, on the initiative of a group of Freemasons from Pernambuco, members of the Fraternity Palmarense, Cavaleiros da Luz and Luzeiro da Verdade Masonic Lodges, with the name of GRANDE LOJA DE MAÇONS ANTIGOS LIVRES AND ACCEPTED, receiving the C
