About Alfabeto de la Lengua Malecu

The Malecu language (Malecu Lhaíca), traditionally called Guatuso, is spoken in Costa Rica, in the Guatuso canton, Alajuela province, in three localities known as palenques: Margarita, El Sol and Tonjibe. This application has been created with the idea of working as a didactic resource for the people of the malecu community. Each letter of the alphabet of the Malecu language is exemplified with one or more words presented in writing and in audio, this in order to learn to associate the writing of the words with how they are pronounced in this language. The application was developed following linguistic, didactic and graphic design criteria.
