The prayer of Nadbah is one of the famous prayers on the subject of supplication (supplication and asking for help) from the Imam of the Age (pbuh) and regretting the absence of that Imam.
This prayer was first quoted by Muhammad ibn Ja'far Mashhadi in the book Al-Mazar al-Kabir, and then Sayyid Ibn Tawus in the book Iqbal al-A'mal attributed it to Imam Sadegh (AS) and considered its reading to be mustahab. It is considered mustahab to recite the Nadbah prayer on Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Eid al-Ghadir and Friday.
