Investigar as pegadas dos anim

There are animals in the fields, in the woods or in the forest, on the beach and in the dunes, which, often, can not be observed because they are hidden. However, it can be known that they are present in these habitats due to the traces they leave in the middle, such as food remains and excrement. These traces allow you to identify various aspects of your behavior. On the other hand, animals that use walking legs can leave tracks formed by footprints on wet substrates (for example, muddy or wet sand). Each footprint has different characteristics as to the shape, size, number of nails, fingers or cushions that are registered.
The didactic proposal "CreativeLab_Sci & Math: Investigating animal footprints" focuses on the study of the animals that exist in a certain environment, from the identification of their traces, namely footprints.
The activity includes an application and scripts for the student and teacher. The student's script includes several tasks that explore the anatomical and behavioral characteristics of the animals, the way they can be identified from the footprints and activities associated with the promotion of animal welfare. The teacher's guide includes suggestions for exploring the tasks proposed in the activity.
