Conscientiously with waste - Raising awareness of citizens to reduce waste

The area includes five JLS in Krapina Zagorje County: Konjščina Municipality, Budinšćina, Hraščina, Novi Golubovec and Lobor. In the coverage area according to the census of 2011, 12,094 residents lived in 3,864 households.
The aim of the project is to inform 100% of the inhabitants of the Municipality of Kostunica, Budinščina, Hrašćina, Novi Golubovec and Lobor on waste management methods that lead to a reduction in the amount of waste landfilled into landfills through 5 mandatory and 7 recommended educational and information activities. Along with the informative activities the project includes activities of promotion and visibility and project management. The knowledge acquired will be used by citizens to change their everyday habits and to adopt the importance of responsible waste management in the sense of sustainable development of their local environment.
The project was co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund.
The content of a mobile application is the sole responsibility of the Municipality of Konjščina.
