The IES Eduardo Pondal is located at the mouth of the river which forms Anllóns this point a large estuary of socio-economic importance to the region of Bergantiños. Wetlands are varied and complex ecosystems that are in serious regression as a result of human activities. These conservation issues particularly affect migratory birds, a group of animals that travel thousands of kilometers stain wet wet stain. Due to the reduction of wetlands, the few humid spaces with good storage conditions are essential as a wintering, breeding or passage for many migratory birds. The Anllóns Estuary is an example of such spaces. It is a wetland with a condition that allows acceptable observe a great diversity of birds according to the time of year.
Since IES Eduardo Pondal we put our bit to improve the conservation of this space presenting some of the most important of this bird.
The application was made during the 2016-17 academic year under the program NATUREZA (Plan project) promoted by the Department of Culture, Education and University. The authors of the observations and images need to perform this work are students of 3rd and 2nd Bachelor ESO under the direction of teachers and Nacho Mendez Baamonde Isabel Espinosa Segura.
