About Botânica do IFSC São José

This APP is the product of the research project Botany of IFSC São José in photographs, drawings and paintings, focusing on a sensitive and attentive look at the plants of IFSC São José at a time of social distance between the internal community, the physical structure and your plants; during the COVID-19 pandemic. This project was covered by Internal Call notice nº 032021/PROPPI/PROEX with Research and Extension projects linked to the Teaching of the São José Campus.

Inspired by the longing for the exuberant flowers and leaves, the delicious fruits and the aroma of this close physical contact, the project excelled in mapping 15 plants, which were studied, photographed and were available for the choice of the illustrators/the workshop participants " Botanical watercolor - introduction in 5 steps".

Another participation, in addition to the illustrators, was an invitation to @ifscsj's followers to share their photographic records of the botany of IFSC São José. Some of these submissions are “here” as well. In addition to free photographic exercises, inspired by selected plants.

With this material, we organize, here in the app, the Digital Exhibition “The Botany of the IFSC São José in photographs, drawings and paintings”.

The APP structure consists of four buttons: one tells who we are, the second Digital Exhibition “The Botany of IFSC São José in photographs, drawings and paintings”, with the 15 selected plants photographed in loco, which are an active link to the resulting productions in drawing, painting and photography, the third is a map that locates the 15 plants on campus and the last a mix of photographic records, with many cool images that beautifully contribute to getting to know more about the botany of IFSC São José.

We invite you to learn a little more about our botany through our Digital Exhibition.
