The development of a mobile application for Metrocom Rescue, Santiago was developed so that the residents of Santiago can easily learn and understand the basic First Aid that may happen in their areas, basic first aid and rescue operations through converting information from leaflet into android application and images and videos for additional information.
Pangunang-lunas (First Aid) App mainly focused on the first aid lesson including the diagnosis, treatment and disposal.
For diagnosis, the user must first know how the accident or sudden injury has occurred. This can be got for from the victim if he can tell or from witnesses. We call it as the history of the circumstance. The next step is the user needs to see the symptoms such as asthma, heart attack, animal bits, burns, black eyes, blister, heat pain, heat attack. Then the user looks at the signs which are different from normal conditions.
Information content are present in a form of video, text and images.
First aid Information – The application provides different emergency information or emergency case name, including videos and images.
Quiz- to test the user knowledge about first aid by provide a quiz for some in the application and to determine what they have learned in the application.
