The province of Isabela is the second largest among the Philippines 80 provinces. It is located on the northeastern seaboard of the Island Luzon. It is bounded on the north by Cagayan province; on the west by Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao; on the south by Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and Aurora; on the east by the Philippine Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Nowadays many infrastructures were built in the province of Isabela, including some of the best Restaurants, Resorts and Hotels. The various tourists’ destination in the Province of Isabela were not yet known much. The tourists’ need to do the manual process of visiting every tourist spot and ask about the area or get your own tourist guide to explore that place. It takes so much time and effort for the tourist to know about the tourist spot they want to visit. Many tourists don’t know well the beautiful tourist spots in the province of Isabela.
With this reason, the proponents had an idea to develop an android application which will help the tourist to find the better place at one instant. The system is only covering the province of Isabela which means, all you can see is only the tourist spots in the province. The system contains the tourist attractions and destinations. Including the churches or chapel, famous restaurants, museums, malls or department store, parks, falls, human made attractions and natural attractions. It provides tourist site information and municipal profile. The user can search the tourist attractions and the Google map can guide them by locating the route from their current location to the chosen spot.
The long-time which Tourist waste on searching for the better places like natural attractions, restaurants, malls etc. for their enjoyment which is totally unknown to them will get reduced, if they used this application. With the image shown in the details of that particular tourist destination, the tourists can decide whether they go or not on that particular destination. It is essential as it allows users to just browse to their phone rather than printing leaflets or travel brochures. Hence this idea was very helpful for all those who love to travel. The project is about tourist guide system, how the tourist will get best use of the application according to their point of interest.
