Would the Cross cause one to lose peace? But if it is precisely it that gives peace to the world, that brings it into our hearts. All our miseries come from the fact that we don't love him.
If we love God, we will love the crosses, we will desire them, we will be pleased with them. We will be happy to be able to suffer for the love of Him who wanted to suffer for us.
Blessed is he who will courageously follow the Master, carrying his cross, because it is only in this way that we will have the great joy of reaching Heaven!
