The functions of this application are two:
1. Calculate the coordinates of a point from another known point.
2. Calculate the Azimuth, the horizontal distance and the difference between two known points.
Next, the screens to which we can access in the application and its details are described.
Starting screen:
This is the screen on which we started the application, starting at the top we have:
• My logo, if touched, access my work experience.
• Address of my web page, touching on the text accesses it.
• Title of the series of applications, in red, and title of this application in question, in blue, touching on any text you access my pad, which describes, in detail, the functions of the application.
• Next, with green background and blue text we have the button through which we access the screen for the calculation of coordinates of a point from another known point.
• From below and with the same format we have the button to access the calculation of Azimut, horizontal distance and slope between two known points.
• We continue with two check boxes, according to which we select the calculations will be made in centesimal or sexagesimal grades.
• Finally, with red background and white text we have the option to close the application.
I calculate the coordinates of a point from another known point:
In this screen, in the upper part, we see two buttons in which we have the possibility to select between two types of calculation, in two dimensions or in three dimensions.
In the first, 2D calculation, default screen, asks us, on the left, the X and Y coordinates of the base, or known point and on the right the azimuth and the horizontal distance to the read point. Once the required data has been entered, we give the calculation button and it will give us the result of the coordinates, X and Y, of the point.
In the second case, 3D calculation, asks us, on the left, the data of the base: X, Y, Z and height of the device, and to the right, the readings to the point: Azimuth, Vertical angle, horizontal or inclined distance and height of the prism. As in the previous option, if we give the calculate button after entering the data it will give us, as a result, the coordinates of the point, X, Y and Z.
As we can see, both on one screen and another, we have buttons that give us the possibility of going back to the beginning, leaving the application or calculating another point.
Calculation of Azimuth, horizontal distance and difference between two known points:
The data that we are asked for are:
On the left, the X, Y and Z coordinates of the base, and on the right the X, Y and Z coordinates of the point. Once the required data has been entered, we will click on the calculate button and it will give us the result, in the lower part of the screen, Azimuth, Horizontal Distance, Inclined Distance and Dimension increase.
As in the previous screens, the buttons appear that give us the possibility of going back to the beginning, leaving the application or calculating another point.
