The history of our favorite school is almost a century old. The roots of "Dr Peter Beron" Secondary School are found in the distant 1922/23, when a real high school class was opened in Svilengrad for the first school year. with three classes, and in the 1931/32 school year was already a complete high school with 225 students. Permission to name the high school in Svilengrad "Dr. Peter Beron" was given by the Ministry of Education on October 7, 1938. With the same permission, the ministry certifies that it recognizes the high school as the successor of the Edirne Bulgarian Male Pedagogical High School "Dr Peter Beron".
Today the school has modern equipment, modern classrooms and highly qualified pedagogical specialists who train and educate over 800 students from I to XII grade. The successes of the students are multiplied by the passing of the day, thanks to the universal efforts and efforts in the joint work of teachers and students.
