Enjoy the Statenvertaling Bijbel, the first official Dutch-language Bible translation from the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts. The translation work was done in Leiden in 1635.

The Statenvertaling Bijbel is divided into two testaments.
The Old Testament describes the history of the Jewish people and of Israel and the vast majority was handed over in Hebrew.

The New Testament is the second part of the Christian Bible and it was completely written in Greek.
