The one we know as "Mullah Mohsen Feiz Kashani" was called "Muhammad". Muhammad was born in Kashan in 1007 AH.
His father, his father, and his uncle were Shiite mullahs, and they owned a lecture-room. His mother was a native of Rey and the daughter of Zia al-Arfa Razi, who was also a mullah in Rey.
Mohammed lost his father at the age of two, and his uncle Akhund Nura and his uncle took over his education.
At the age of twenty, he went to the capital of Shah Abbas Safavi, Isfahan, to continue his education. He is said to have made disciples of "Mullah Mohammad Taghi Majlesi" and "Sheikh Baha'i" and "Mirdamad" and "Mullah Sadra", each of whom was a master of the science of the time. She also attended a two-year course in Shiraz for Shiite scholars coming from Jebel, Lebanon.
Mullah Mohsen went on a pilgrimage journey at a young age and returned to his hometown after touring Hejaz, Iraq, and parts of Iran. And married his daughter.
After marrying, she spent two years with Mulla Sadra in Shiraz, then returned to Kashan to teach and compose.
There are 100 to 200 books by Melamhassan Feyz Kashani. The subject of all these books is the science of Shiite religion.
Mullah Mohsen lived for more than eighty years and died in Kashan and his body was buried in the same town in a cemetery named after him.
Mullah Mohsen Faiz had requested that no address be made on his grave, but the Kashan people made his grave and resorted to him.
