Khaje Nizamuddin Obaidullah Zakani, known as "Obaid Zakani", was born in Qazvin in the late seventh century AH. He was of the Zakan family of Arab origin and was therefore known as Zakani.
Obaid Zakani acquired knowledge in Qazvin city and dragged it there and remained there until the end of his life. Abbas Iqbal writes in the preface of the Divine Obaid: "There is no detailed information on the biography and events of Abid Zakani's life. He himself, authored in the 5th century AH, gives a mixed account of the legend about him and the author of Riyadh al-Mawl ذma in some of his works, and further information is obtained from Abیدiع's poems and writings. The author of the Excerpted History wrote about Obaid. No source is mentioned. "
