About Uniknow

Uniknow helps you learn physics, bridging your course and exercise series. Uniknow has been flexibly designed, allowing you to practice on public transport for example.
The learning of the classical mechanics of the material point and the indeformable solid is based on two axes.
A theoretical part summarizes in 14 chapters your course of Physics I, supported by 26 videos. You then have the opportunity to review the magnitudes of physics, the harmonic oscillator or the dynamics of the indeformable solid.
One part exercises evaluates your knowledge by chapter. Need to practice ballistics? Click on the corresponding chapter in the exercises menu, and answer the multiple-choice questions (MCQs). You will get +3 points per correct answer, -1 for a wrong answer, and a detailed solution will be offered. A bar will inform you of your progress on the chapter, and a score of 6 will be awarded once it is completed. Uniknow is free, ad-free, and comes with 150 QCM. You will then be able to unlock up to 150 additional QCMs, at a rate of 1 CHF for 10 multiple choice questions.
Finally, a notes section has been implemented to allow you to archive the questions that come to mind during the course, taking some pictures and adding a short description. You can then ask your questions later, these are now organized on your smartphone.
Hoping wholeheartedly for your success in Physics I at EPFL and elsewhere,

The Uniknow team

Alexandre Chau developed the Android version of Uniknow. Timothy Duran took charge of the UI. Valentin Calame made the images, and Soheyl Massoudi created the content. The creation of Uniknow was supported by the Enable program of the EPFL Techology Transfer Office.
