Conscious consumers have always been skeptical of food additives. The same is true for vegans and people with religious sensitivities. In this application, both the side effects of food additives in terms of health are stated and it has been clarified which E-coded products should be paid attention to by people with vegan and religious sensitivities.

Detailed information about the contents of the additives and the sources from which they are obtained is not given on the food labels. With this study, hundreds of websites, academic articles and various sources were scanned and the content of food additives, their side effects, whether they were halal or not, and the presence of animal food in them were stated.

The E code refers to the code approved by the European Union for each food additive. The letter E at the beginning of the number represents the first letter of the word Europe (Europe). The 3 or 4 digit number next to the letter E is a coding system used instead of the chemical name of the food additive.

With the application, you can search for the numbers of food additives and see if they have any side effects in terms of health, and you can also examine whether they are halal, suspicious and haram in terms of religion.
