Following the success of the “1 day, 1 million trees” operation launched on the occasion of the celebration of Peace Day on November 15, 2019, MINEF intends in this year 2020 to plant 5 million trees across the country as part of its “1 day, 5 million trees” operation. To do this, MINEF mobilized the Ivorian Government, the PTF, the private sector, the population for the success of this operation. In addition, MINEF asked the NGO IMPACTUM to help coordinate activities and mobilize donations. In order to ensure better monitoring of the operation but above all of the trees planted, IMPACTUM proposes the digitization of this project consisting of the establishment of a website and a mobile application for monitoring, monitoring and evaluation of planting actions.
