Pi is an irrational number and is defined as the ratio of circumference to diameter of any circle. Finding the value of pi is quite difficult using traditional methods. Thanks to newer computing technologies, finding the accurate value of pi is easier nowadays.
In this game you can visualize how a computer determines the value of pi using Monte-Carlo simulation. In-order to provide a good visual experience, accuracy of the value has been compromised and is being restricted by the device's framerate. Balls are dropped randomly from any point within a square of side 2 units. Inside the square, a circular box of radius 1 unit is placed. The circular box collects all balls coming inside it. Balls inside the box and total number of balls are being noted. Pi is then being determined using the given formula.
