100 Basic Work application is an application that contains information and summaries related to 100 Basic Books and books determined by the Ministry of National Education for Secondary School students.
A list of 100 books was prepared by a commission of experts and academics from different backgrounds for the book lovers to read.
The list also includes works such as Nazım Hikmet's Human Landscapes from My Hometown, Necip Fazıl's Çile, Aziz Nesin’s Yaşar Ne Yaşar Ne Yaşaz, Oğuz Atay's Scientist's Novel.
The list of major works of Turkish and world literature and important names of contemporary literature was not included in the list, since the works of the authors still alive from Turkish literature may be polemic.
