Arte & Cultura Grupo Salinas, in collaboration with the National Museum of Anthropology, presents the App "The invention of memory", whose function is to complement the content of the exhibition of the same name. Through the application, it will be possible to know the origin and motivations of the traveling photographers who arrived in Mexico in the 19th century to explore these lands and take photographic images of the archaeological sites that, in some cases, were discovered by them. Through ‘augmented reality’, the App allows us to know the conditions in which photographs were taken at that time, the equipment they used or monuments that no longer exist today. Also, it is possible to know the current state of some vestiges portrayed by these characters and whose original pieces are part of "The invention of memory".
