The pipe organ of the Church of San Lorenzo is evidence of the intense and passionate musical activity practiced by the cloistered nuns, which made the monastery famous in the wider southern context. A positive organ of fine workmanship, datable to the mid-eighteenth century, placed in the choir loft in line with the high altar, shielded by carved wooden jealousies.
