Minesweeper In Space is a fresh take on an old classic. Players will search tiles and try to deduce where mines are located. Just like in the classic minesweeper players will reveal what's underneath each square by selecting them.
Once a tile has been revealed it will show one of three things:
1. An empty space which means that the player is safe from mines on the current space and all adjacent spaces do not contain any mines
2. If the space shows a number then that means there are currently that many mines next to the selected space. So if the number 2 is shown then there are exactly 2 mines adjacent, no more and no less than that. With these clues the player will be able to use their deductive reasoning skills to determine where all of the mines are located.
3. Finally players can reveal a mine. In this case the player immediately loses the game and will have to try again. Just like the classic minesweeper players will be shown where all of the mines were located at this point in order to help them determine where they might have went wrong in their reasoning.
Game Modes:
Adventure Mode
In this mode players will be able to show their improving skills with each level. All of the levels in Minesweeper In Space get progressively more challenging and the player can earn one to three stars on each level for the amount of time spent finding all of the mines. This will help you improve you deductive reason skills and sharpen your brain since you will have to process different possibilities on the fly at faster and faster rates with more and more complicated mine fields. Adventure mode is both challenging and rewarding for those who are up for becoming a true master minesweeper.
Custom Game Mode
This mode is for those who want to just play like the classic game of Minesweeper. Players will be able to select a grid size along with a number of mines that will be placed. This can be used to build levels that are won in a single move for those that like to just see the whole board cleared in one fell swoop. You can also ramp up the difficulty to near impossible by setting up mine fields with mines that cover almost the entire board. Or you can find the perfect sweet spot in between.
Other Features
-The ability to flag spaces where mines are believed to be located in order to help solve the puzzle in a faster amount of time and help avoid mistakes.
-Custom flag skins to help leave your mark in universe.
-Different colored mines to make defeat a little more palatable.
