The writing of this book is intended to enrich literature in the field of Islamic education as well as teaching material in lectures related to the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers. The target of this writing is students and/or lecturers who wish to understand more deeply related to the ethics of the teaching profession in Islamic education and other aspects regarding teacher professionalism.
The discussion about the teaching profession today has gained momentum since the enactment of Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers. Through this law, the government is implementing an increase in teacher professionalism through various means, such as certification programs, teacher activity centers (PKG), and so on.
However, this increase in teacher professionalism needs to be balanced with strengthening the ethical and moral aspects so that they have the four competencies mandated by the law as a whole and comprehensively.
The author realizes that despite the seriousness and efforts that have been made, it is believed that what has been compiled is still far from perfection and contains weaknesses both in terms of content, analysis, language and technical writing carried out. So with humility, the author expects constructive criticism and correction in order to improve future writing.
Hopefully this application can be useful and become a loyal friend in the learning process at any time without having to be online.
