"PCCW Credit Union" was established in 1976. Its predecessor was "Telephone Staff Credit Union". In the 1992 annual meeting, the economic staff approved the name change to "Hong Kong Telecom Credit Union". In order to cope with the establishment of the new company, in a special meeting in 2001, the economic and social staff agreed to change the name to "PCCW Credit Union". "PCCW" provides office, printing and internal mailing services to "PCCW Credit Union". The administration, finance, planning and business promotion of "PCCW Credit Union" are fully managed independently by the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, Loan Committee and Education Committee.
