Here's how you can change the keyboard theme and background:

1-Activate the keyboard.
2-Select a keyboard from yours and switch to HD KEYBOARD THEMES.
3-Select the keyboard theme of your choice.
4-Click only on the selected image.
5-Select the keyboard language as desired.

Then start sms or social networks and when you click on write a message you will see that your keyboard background is activated.
