The origin of the Bisampfeluhr has long been unclear. There were early in the Urspungsforschung the clock, speculated about the fact that Peter Henlein is the developer and manufacturer of this particular watch genre. It was discovered when detailed investigations on the inner case is engraved with the inscription, which reads as follows: MDVPHN. Translated the letters of 1000, 500, 5, Peter Henlein of Nuremberg - 1505 Peter Henlein of Nuremberg. This discovery suggests the hypothesis that the origin of Bisamapfeluhr is in the hands of Henlein. He had the time and the skills they need to prepare a clock.
