The app 3Deventer is a project of Museum De Waag in collaboration with Panoptes Heritage, Kunstenlab, Archeology Deventer, Best Cinematography, and Twinsense360 Sandorp heritage & culture.
Deventer is known for its rich history. Museum De Waag wants to make visible and tangible the unique history with changing exhibitions. But the journey through time does not stop within the walls of the Museum De Waag. The app will take museum visitors and other interested parties time to show what "time" does a city. Through innovative 3D reconstructions are buildings that have disappeared from the streets, to see if they are still there now. Future perspectives of artists show how the city can develop in the coming centuries. In this way, the heritage of the city experienced in a unique way.
With the app are several historical monuments in the city to see different layers of time; in the past and future. 3Deventer features include a virtual look at Deventer in 1550 where the old double city wall can be seen from across the river IJssel.
