Color Spotter can be used in mainly two ways:
- As an aid if you are color blind in any way. As such it uses everyday terminology for expressing color, optionally spoken.
- As a tool for sampling colors for e.g. Web development, by showing closest HTML color name as well as RGB, HSL and CMYK values.
It provides a number of options via icons:
- Activating the camera light
- Activating the front-facing camera
- Activating speech
All the options toggle settings on further presses.
But for normal use you only need to touch the palette icon or the color box.
Colors are shown and spoken in either English or Swedish depending on the system setting.
