GigWork GmbH was founded in 2016 by Dr. Ing. Nicolai Kranz and dr. Jörg Haas was founded in the StartUp network of HW Partners AG in Bonn.
Dr. Nicolai Kranz is managing partner of GigWork, management consultant for HR management and lawyer. For the past 20 years, the former CEO and HR Manager has been founding, operating and using the most diverse - analogue - platforms for the placement of occupations: job fairs, temporary employment agencies, personnel consultancy and transfer companies. Kranz is sure that the future of recruitment is digital. Short-term employees, for example, were hardly considered to bridge staff shortages. That used to be too time-consuming. Now digital matching platforms are opening up a much more efficient recruitment process.
This is also Dr. Jörg Haas is convinced that he already operates a digital matching platform within his group of companies. He is the founder of GWI AG (today Agfa Healthcare), European market leader in hospital information systems, CEO of the technology group HW Partners AG as well as owner of the BonnVisio Group and Invite Group with more than 40 hotel, catering, real estate and affiliated companies.
