A complete geography game for young and old. This is a multiple-choice question quiz with varying levels of difficulty aimed at all ages, from elementary school children (with adult supervision) to the oldest traveler. Suitable for:
- Primary school children who learn about our country in the Geography lesson about prefectures, cities, rivers, mountains, lakes, plains, etc.
- people who love our country and travel and want to test their knowledge.
There are five (5) game types: (a) Quick Play, (b) Duel, (c) How Well Do You Know...? , (d) Find the Word and (e) Find it on the Map.
(A) Quick game
The game is available in three difficulty levels and includes questions about counties, regions, geographical divisions, rivers, lakes, islands, mountains, etc. The questions are multiple choice from four possible answers. Depending on the difficulty level, if there is time (and how much) for each question and how quickly you answer, you collect points. Also, Stefanos' help is available where he leaves you with two possible answers, but if you answer correctly you get half the points.
The game ends when you use up your three lives. Depending on your score, you are placed in the corresponding level and time period.
(B) Dueling
You can duel other players over predetermined questions. The game ends when the opponent who accepted the invitation has played the last question and the best player wins.
(C) How well do you know ..?
Similar to the above games but you play in a specific category to prove how well you know a region or category, eg Thessaly or rivers of Greece. Depending on your performance in 20 questions of various difficulty levels, you earn up to 3 stars.
(D) Find the Word
It's the familiar hangman game but with geography questions. Read the clue, select letters and find the word before the hanger catches up with you.
(E) Find it on the Map
You are given a location or a point of interest (lake, mountain, monument, etc.) and you have to find it on the map by clicking on the appropriate point. You have two aids available: one shows you a 50km radius area within which the requested location is located, the other shows the labels of the locations on the map to help you in your search.
All photos are available under a Creative Commons license, as are the sounds. The application is compatible with the GDPR Regulation, as no personal data is collected either directly or through third-party services.
