Held since 1948, with the participation of representatives of scientific societies, authorities and managers of the national system of science and technology, the Annual Meeting of the SBPC is an important forum for the dissemination of scientific advances in various areas of knowledge and a discussion forum public policy for science and technology.
The scientific program consists of lectures, round tables, meetings, special sessions, short courses and poster sessions. They are also carried out other activities such as the Young SBPC (face exposure to students of primary and general public), the ExpoT & C (display of science and technology), the SBPC Culture (presentation of regional artistic activities and discussions on topics related to arts and culture), the African indigenous SBPC (conferences and round tables that address this issue), and closing the event, we will have another edition of Family Day in Science. In the week before the Annual Meeting, there will be SBPC Education, with activities aimed at upgrading the elementary and high school teachers.
