Follo HK Ladies was established as a separate club from the 2007/2008 season. Before that time we were a division of Follo Handball Club where the ladies played in the 2nd division, 5th division and J18.
It was intended that the cooperation between ladies and gentlemen should continue along the lines laid down in the signed sharing agreement. Thus, the two clubs must be profiled outward in the same way (in terms of logo, suit colors and other profiling equipment).
Follo Handball Club was divided by the formation of a new association and the members of the women's team naturally belong to the ladies department, and was added to a new association.
Members and the assets, rights and obligations of the dividing society as shown in the accounts of the Ladies Department per 30.04.2007 was transferred to the separated association with accounting effect from 01.05.2007, ie from the 2007-2008 season.
Since the 2009/2010 season the girls play in their own club and are well established in the 1st division, 3rd division as well as a J18 environment. The A-team player environment has a clear goal of elite series play when the foundation is there.
Follo HK Damer is a performance club with several partner clubs with which it collaborates. Top and width hand in hand.
The club has several positive supporters that make the effort possible, but there is often a lot of work for a few people, and we are constantly looking for committed people who want Follo to become a center of gravity in the region. With senior teams in the 1st and 3rd divisions, and young girls aged 16-18 who want to invest in Lerøy, and with a good cooperation with the clubs in the district, we have shown that it is fundamental for a top club also for the women's handball in Follo.
