About Cálculos Eléctricos Nom

For the calculations of this app, the Mexican standard NOM 001 SEDE 2012, the National Electric Code (NEC) of the United States and different books are taken as a reference.

They are electrical calculations aimed at verifying electrical installations (UVIE).

Notes are left to explain the calculation procedure and details that must be considered. It also indicates if any restriction only applies in Mexico or to a certain standard.
We have a website with tutorials on the various calculations you can visit at any time www.AppGameTutoriales.com

With this application it is possible to calculate the dimensions of the pipe, the conductor caliber, motor amperage, transformer amperage, fuses, switches, voltage drop, the conductor based on the voltage drop and we leave a table where the amperage that supports the different gauges of copper and aluminum cables.

In addition, we leave notes in each section of the App to better guide you on the use of the application and to give you important information about each calculation.

1.- For Engines, the following is calculated:
- Amperage.
- Burden.
- Minimum caliber for the conductor.
- Capacity of the protections.

2.- Calculations of Transformer.
- High and low voltage amperage.
- Burden.
- Minimum caliber for the conductor.
- Fuse.
- Switch.
- Minimum caliber for the earth.

3.- Driver selection.
The minimum conductor is selected according to the amperage, the type of insulation, the continuous load and non-continuous load, the grouping factor and the temperature factor.
We create another section where the size of the electrical conductor is calculated based on the maximum voltage drop allowed.

4.- Pipe selection.
The size of the pipe is calculated, based on the size of the conductors, the number of conductors and the material of the pipe.

5.- Voltage drop.
The voltage drop is a very important parameter when carrying out an electrical project, here you can calculate it both in voltage and in percentage.
