Weteringschans Oost is used as a bicycle street with red asphalt: cyclists get more space and the car is a guest (maximum speed 30 km per hour). The GVB replaces and moves the tram tracks. This creates more room for pedestrians and for bicycle parking spaces. Waternet replaces the sewer system and the drinking water pipeline and Liander the gas pipeline.
