Who are we?
The CATALAN SOCIETY FOR URGENCIES AND EMERGENCY MEDICINE (SoCMUE) was born after the merger agreement agreed in the Extraordinary Assembly held on September 30, 2008 between the CATALAN SOCIETY OF MEDICINE OF URGENCIES (SCMU), a specialized branch of the " Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands and the CATALAN ASSOCIATION OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE (ACMES), autonomous society of the Spanish Society of Emergency Medicine and Emergencies (SEMES).
As a result of the merger, the members of each one of the old societies become automatically partners of both indivisible and in accordance with the new Statutes of the CATALAN SOCIETY FOR MEDICINE OF URGENCES AND EMERGENCIES (SoCMUE) approved in the Extraordinary Assembly on September 30, 2008.
