The Supercuidadoras social network is organized in three levels: Family, Social and Support.
The FAMILY level is where families privately share their moments and memories in the form of publications. Caregivers can post day-to-day moments so that the whole family is aware of the state of the person cared for and the effort involved in caring. The rest of the family users can publish their day to day to help the caregivers and the caregivers to feel socially active.
In addition, the publication of memories is a cognitive training tool based on conversation that helps to maintain a routine and quality therapy without efforts on the part of the caregivers. These publications help the family to be aware of the caregivers' efforts and to keep family ties alive and active.
Above the family level we have SOCIAL level, which is the network where anyone can participate in a public way sharing their experiences and memories in the form of publications. In this way, it is the caregivers who decide what to share in a public way. This global network is where we will carry out a didactic task and general support through publications of our team.
As a complement to family and social support we offer a personalized SUPPORT program for caregivers. This emotional and practical support is provided by a team of excuidadoras in personal chat format.
The support program is complemented by three self-monitoring tests that caregivers periodically fill in and help us detect risk situations. These exams are: Overload of the caregiver (SCC), Cognitive Impairment (DC) and Functional Dependency (DF). The first is to evaluate the general state of the caregiver. The DC is oriented to elderly people. The DF is aimed at anyone who requires care.
